dcm4chee use the jmx console to configure the beans and the properties of the services offered by the dcm4chee modules.
The JMX console provides a raw view into the microkernel of the JBoss application server. It lists all registered services (MBeans) that are active in the application server and that can be accessed either through the JMX console itself or programmatically from Java code.
For more information about the jmx-console and how it work, please refere to the official documentation of jmx :
For XDS-I.b transaction, jmx console is used to configure the repositoryUniqueId. To do so, you have to go from the jmx console to the service XDSIbRetrieveService under the paragraph dcm4chee.xds
To modify the repositoryUniqueId attribute, you have to change its value from the table, and then click on the button 'apply change'.
This gui also allows to enable or to disable the logging to the audit record repository.
