This transaction involves a request by the Patient Identifier Cross-reference Consumer Actor for a list of patient identifiers that correspond to a patient identifier known by the consumer. The request is received by the Patient Identifier Cross-reference Manager. The Patient Identifier Cross-reference Manager immediately processes the request and returns a response in the form of a list of corresponding patient identifiers, if any.

In this test, the Orpheum Test bed will simulate the Patient Identifier Cross-reference Manager. The system under test will be the Patient Identifier Cross-reference Consumer. The Sending Facility and Application below are suggested. You may enter other values which your system will use if you wish. Orpheum uses the combination of these two values to identify individual tests on the PIX Manager simulator.
* Indicate whether you will test against the Open or Secure port.
* Set the Sending Facility and Application to what your client will send.
* Select "Start Test" to begin the testing operation.
* Select "Clear" to reset before starting test
* Send test message from your PIX Consumer.
* Select "Check for test results" to see what the PIX Manager simulator recorded.
* Select "End Test" to finish th testing operation.
